The Wedding
A famous Croatian businessman learns on his birthday that he is about to go bankrupt. His family enters his office with a cake and tamburitza players, and at the same time his daughter, who is studying in London, calls him and announces with a congratulatory message that she is pregnant. The child’s father is the son of a Serbian minister. In the style of a full-blooded Balkan anti-rom-com, interweaving humor, warmth and tension, “The Wedding” follows the story of two families whose relationship constantly dances between a warm family story and an international incident.
