Once upon a time in Trubar
A spring morning reveals the almost deserted village of Trubar, where Stevo, a postwar returnee, lives alone, relying on hard work, faith, and nature. Through his daily life and memories of a once-vibrant community, the film explores themes of solitude, transience, freedom, and spiritual peace. When he sets out on a pilgrimage on foot to the Rmanj Monastery, his journey grows into an intimate search for meaning and inner peace.
