01 - Otac / Father
MAELSTROM is an omnibus of three short films, made as a remake of the eponymous 1964 omnibus by Hajrudin Šiba Krvavac and Gojko Šipovac. Through three wartime stories, it follows characters trying to escape war and its consequences. A father flees with his sons from soldiers, two soldiers search for a way out of a forest far from the front line, and a young soldier tries to save his severely wounded father.
