Automobil je zahvaćen plamenom uz cestu. Usred kaosa i straha prolazi drugi automobil, netaknut događajem koji se odvija pored njega. U njemu se vozi obitelj koja djeluje savršeno i ne zaustavlja se kako bi pomogla. Tko su ti ljudi koji odlučuju ne stati? “Obiteljska terapija” vrti se oko slovenske ‘nouveau riche’ obitelji koja živi u staklenoj kući, isijavajući ravnodušnu superiornost. Ova postavka služi kao satirična pozadina za humorističko preoblikovanje premise iz Pasolinijevog “Teorema”: mladi stranac stiže u obiteljski dom narušavajući delikatan balans obiteljske dinamike i otkrivajući svijet kaosa te disfunkcionalne odnose obitelji skrivene ispod površine - Olivijina gušeća prezaštitnička skrb prema svojoj tinejdžerskoj kćeri, Agati; Aleksandrov bijeg u fantazije o obiteljskom putovanju svemirom; tajna skrivena ispod Agatine perike. Film ne samo da propituje postupke onih koji se ne zaustavljaju kako bi pomogli nekome - također istražuje razloge njihovih izbora. Boje li se suočavanja sa vlastitim ranjivostima ili je to naučena ravnodušnost, simptom šire društvene bolesti?

Inside is a family that appears perfect and does not stop to help. Who are these people who choose not to stop? Family Therapy revolves around a Slovenian nouveau riche family living in a glass house, radiating indifferent superiority. This setting serves as a satirical backdrop for a humorous reworking of the premise of Pasolini’s Teorema: a young stranger arrives at the family home, disrupting the delicate balance of family dynamics and revealing a world of chaos and dysfunctional relationships hidden beneath the surface—Olivia’s suffocating, overprotective care for her teenage daughter Agata; Aleksander’s escape into fantasies of a family journey through space; and the secret hidden beneath Agata’s wig. The film not only questions the actions of those who do not stop to help someone, but also explores the reasons behind their choices. Are they afraid of confronting their own vulnerabilities, or is it learned indifference—a symptom of a broader social disease?
